October 29th 2006 - Francesco Zago in Basel

October 27th, 11:15 am: Finally, Francesco arrives at Fazzul headquater in Basel. After a coffee we discuss our notes from the weekend "milanese".

2 pm: we arrive at Ton - Art studio ... and have to wait some moments until the computer is willing to work ... ufffff. Then Benno Hofer works like a wizard: our "Tradate 2 track mic recordings" become a fantastic sound picture.

October 9th 2006 - Zauss news

October 6th: MS travels to Milano, Italy to meet Francesco Zago to discuss the upcoming production ZAUSS "neulich neben der Grenze / La casa dei doganieri / close to the frontier" and talk about / checked out / important things.

September 28th 2006 - Good news !

Ton - Art Studio should be fixed in the near future (to be honest I am very surprised that it takes so much time) and we (Francesco Zago and MS) will "refresh" and master our Neolithicum duo recordings on October 27th / 28th 2006.

We decided to change the name of our duo because the music on this CD will be very different from the NEOLITHICUM DUO set we played last autumn in Switzerland. ... more >>

September 23th 2006 - And then ...

... the big flood came over the Ton - Art Studio of Benno Hofer. We hoped that everything could be fixed very quick, but ... no chance.

All improvisations and compositions from the Neolithicum - Duo set by Francesco Zago und MS couldn't be "polished up" last Tuesday.

September 16th 2006 - Clouds in the sky ?

Yes and what happend down in Tradate, Italy on July 28th 2006? Francesco Zago and MS played their Neolithicum - Duo set as well as some free improvisations. MS played during the whole rehearsal his soprano saxophon and all has been recorded with a stereo microphone and a 2 track 24 bit flash recorder.
